About

Welcome to my shop, and thanks for visiting! My name is Stacy, and I love to create fun, happy accessories that will brighten your day and bring a smile to your face. I’m inspired by the beauty found in every day life, and the imagination and creativity of children – especially my daughter, Kylie!

Coco and Bee is named after Kylie’s two “imaginary” friends, a girl named Coco and her twin brother Bee. Since first inviting the twins into her little pink playhouse for a tea party, Kylie has been on many adventures with them! To me, Coco and Bee evoke the concept of innocence and the freedom to be whomever and whatever we want to be. I try to design items that reflect this sense of whimsy and joy, as a reminder that we can all learn a great deal from children.

My daughter and her friends inspire me to express my creativity on a daily basis. I first began sewing when Kylie was born. Because my family has been in the garment industry all my life, it came naturally to me, though I find that I derive my greatest enjoyment from creating cute yet practical accessories. A few years ago, after deciding I wanted to make something fun yet useful for my closest girlfriends, I added little flower appliqués to handcrafted lunch bags. They were so well received that I started to get orders, and began creating them for kids as well. Soon after that, I began making personalized towels as Christmas gifts, and before I knew it I had dozens of orders for those as well.

In 2009, I launched Coco and Bee (you can also see my products at my Etsy Store), and now I craft full time! I offer a wide variety of personalized, appliquéd items, including the signature Coco and Bee towels, which are always a hit – everyone loves to see their name or their child’s name on their belongings!

I love bright, fun and happy colors and try to use them in my creations. I like to use an eclectic mix of materials for my appliquéd items, experimenting with color and texture to create unique items that will be treasured for many years.

Thanks again for stopping by – please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!
